Plastics for Medical Devices and Healthcare Industry 2025 Seminar

The 4th National Seminar on Plastics for Medical Devices & Healthcare Industry: New Materials, Developments and Opportunities was scheduled for December 12, 2025, with an optional field-visit day on December 13, 2025.

The seminar was jointly organised by the SPE India Medical Plastics Division and the Indian Plastics Institute, Bangalore Chapter, with support from Medical Plastics Data Service and the Association of Indian Medical Device Industry (AiMeD).

Programme Focus

• Day 1 focused on medical polymers and processing, domestic and export market opportunities, quality requirements and testing, entrepreneurship and start-up opportunities, packaging, sterilization, recycling and sustainability.
• Day 2 was planned as an optional limited-participant field visit and demonstration at FANUC India, focused on medical plastic component manufacturing, automation and robotics.
• The brochure listed an expected profile of industry leaders, policy makers, research and academic experts, technology providers, service providers, material specialists, manufacturing professionals and consultants.
• The event was positioned for plastics and medical device companies, start-ups, entrepreneurs, industry professionals and people associated directly or indirectly with plastics and medical devices.
