Managing Director of Terumo Penpol Private Limited.
Currently Special Officer, Kerala Medical Technology
Consortium; Director, Kerala Life Sciences Parks Private
Limited and Director, Padosan Trading Private Limited.
Padmakumar
started his career as a Junior Project Executive and
worked his way up from the shop floor in India’s first
Blood Bag company, Peninsula Polymers Limited (PENPOL).
The company is now established as one of the largest
manufacturing sites for Blood Bags in the world and is the
market leader in India. Terumo Penpol products are sold in
over 80 countries all over the world.
Recipient Asia
Pacific Enterprise Award (APEA) 2017 for healthcare
industry constituted by the NGO Enterprise Asia.
He was the
Chairman of CII Thiruvananthapuram Zone during the period
2011 – 13. A Member of the CII Kerala State Council and
the CII Southern Region Sub-Committee on Skills for 2015 -
16.
Currently
President of the Trivandrum Management Association,
Industry Specialist for PG Program of Rajiv Gandhi Center
for Bio Technology and Member of University Innovation
Cell, Kerala University of Health Sciences.
He is married
to Sobita and they have 2 children Vishnu and Pooja. |
